Our Lodge was founded on 16th April 1875 and is named from scholarly writings dating back to 1553AD, which refers to Castleford as "Legiolium", a local variant possibly of "Legeolio" or the more widely accepted Roman name for the town "Lagentium."

Legiolium Lodge meets every third Monday of the month (except in August) at Castleford Masonic Hall, Powell Street, Castleford WF10 1EL.
